Why do we think money sucks?

Because we let it control us, rather than the other way round. “I can’t go out tonight, I don’t have any money.” “I couldn’t afford to go on holiday this year.”  “We can’t afford to move yet.” “I don’t think I’ll be able to retire at 60 now.”

We could go on and on and on with statements like this. At the heart of the money problems that a lot of people have is an inability, or more properly an unwillingness, to tackle the issues! We all need money, and we all should understand how it works and how we can best use it for the tthings we need at the times we need them.

In short Moneysucks because we let it!

So don’t!

We’ll show you why money doesn’t have to suck – and how having a healthy attitude towards money, where you’re not afraid to deal with it, works to your advantage. In short we’ll show you how you can control your money rather then letting it control you.

We’ll help you take the pain out of managing your money. We’ll show you how make your money work more effectively for you, and how to ensure you have money available at the times in your life when you need it most.

We’ll show you how to borrow efficiently – whether it’s for a house or a car, or for that state of the art TV and home cinema system you’ve always wanted. And we’ll show you why, contrary to what a lot of people tell you, borrowing is not always bad!

We’ll explain whty a budget is not about ‘stopping spending’ but about knowing where you spend and we’ll show you how to take control of your money by budgeting efficiently.

We’ll show you where to get the best returns for your savings and how to get them in a way that involves as much or as little risk as you are prepared to take.

And we’ll show you how to do it all tax efficiently.

Longer term we’ll help you plan to slow down and stop work at a time that suits you, with enough money to enjoy yourself. In short we’ll show you how to achieve financial independence.

Somewhere along the way we’ll give you tips on how to pay less tax and ensure that what money you have can be passed on to your family without massive deductions.

And in our Consumer Stuff section we’ll show you what rights you have as a consumer and how to deal with companies and retailers that won’t help you. We’ll show you how to use the Sale of Goods Act to your advantage and how to complain effectively if things go wrong.

Most of all, we’d like you to tell us how we can help you.
